Woo-Hoo! We'll be happy to view this one. I guess they worked out the contracting details, just hope they didn't make too many concessions. I heard A&E wanted to reduce the cast (sob!), shorten the run-time (sob!) both of which would have cut into the quality of this singular drama.
Some Assembly Required is based just north of Boston, on the first floor of a nice two-family a mere minute's walk from the bus stop. He has one spouse, zero kids (and holding), and one dog, a retired racing greyhound who lives a ridiculously pampered existence.
He's a lifelong New Englander (though all four grandparents were originally New Yorkers), having come of age in the leafy, idyllic suburb of Warwick, RI. He's old enough to have watched The Brady Bunch when it was first on the air, but young enough that he didn't have lustful feelings for Marcia until it went into reruns.
He spends far too much time and energy thinking about clothes, shopping, wristwatches, TV shows, old cars, Christina Hendricks, and the area's bakeries and doughnut shops. He swears he's going to get around to watching the last season and a half of Battlestar Galactica one of these days.

A&E? It's on AMC. And as it turned out, none of those rumors came to pass.
